New Account Request
To request accounts, please complete the
New Account Request Form. After this form is completed, the account will be set up within one business day.
If the account is not active after one business day, please call the support desk at 7-3954.
PLEASE PRINT THESE INSTRUCTIONS AND GIVE THEM TO THE PERSON USING THE NEW ACCOUNT.
Windows Login
When getting your Windows account, your user name will be your first initial of your first name
followed by your entire last name. For example: John Doe would be "jdoe". Your password will be given
to you by the System Administrator. When you log in, make sure the domain is set to OPNET.
Windows Password Change
The first time you login to your computer, it will automatically prompt you to change your password.
To change your password at any other time: press CTRL + ALT + DELETE keys on your keyboard to bring up a Windows Control dialog. You can then
select Change Password. Make sure your user name is correct and that the domain is set to
OPNET. Enter in your old password and then enter a new password twice to confirm. Click OK
and your password will be changed.
NOTE: Passwords must be complex, meaning they must have at least 8 characters and
one capital letter, a number, and a symbol. There is no maximum password length. You cannot use your
last name in any part of your password.
GroupWise
Groupwise Login
When getting your GroupWise account, your User ID is going to be your entire first name followed
by your entire last name. For example: John Doe would be "johndoe". Your password will be given to you
by the Network Administrator. When you first log in, the Address field must be 134.129.201.131
and the Port field must be 1677, as shown in Figure 1.

GroupWise Password Change
- Login to GroupWise using your default password.
- From the menu bar, choose Tools -> Options.
- Double-click the Security icon (as shown in Figure 2).
- In the Password tab, enter your new password in the New Password and
Confirm New Password dialog boxes, then click OK (Figure 3).

FoodPro
FoodPro Login
When you log on to FoodPro it is going to be identical to logging into Windows. You will use
your same user name and password.
Application Xtender
Application Xtender Login
When getting your Application Extender account, your user name will be the first initial of your
first name followed by your entire last name. For example, John Doe would be "jdoe". Your password will
be given to you by the Network Administrator.
Application Xtender Change Password
To change your password in Application Xtender, login to Application Xtender then click
on File --> Change Password.
